How Good Is The Lusum Optio Training Netball?

The 1st Lusum Optio Training Netball was a pink version of this netball. We did see the pink ball and this is a huge improvement and is quite popular too. The Optio Netball is priced favourably for clubs and schools on a tight budget. However the quality is as good as any higher priced training netball available from other brands. The grip is a uniform standard style, pimple grip which is great for young players. They are made in the same factory as other leading branded balls too. Some brands cheapest netballs tend to be rubber moulded but this ball is stitched and has a quality feel to it.

Why Are The Lusum Netballs So Cheap?

Don’t be put off by the price as Lusum don’t spend money on marketing so the cost savings are passed onto the user. This means you can buy netballs around 25% cheaper than better known models. The quality is as high if not higher though so, you get more for your money. I know this sounds like marketing talk but it is true. If a company spends anything on a marketing budget, ultimately it is the end user that pays for it. The quality and durability are as good as anything else on the market.

What Sizes Are The Lusum Optio Netballs Available In?

Most training netballs are available in sizes 4 and 5. The Lusum Optio netballs are also available in both sizes and i’m told the size 4 ball is the biggest seller. This reflects how popular the balls are in junior netball. They are only available in one colourway though. Unless you can source any of the original pink models. If you can they are the same quality. However the pink colourway is a little dull compared to the red/white/black model.
